Land based casinos

India is a country that has very few land based casinos available. This is because in the whole country there are only two out of the 29 total states that allowed the presence of casinos. There is also a union territory that allows the presence of land based casinos as well. This means that overall there are three places within the entirety of India that allows a land based casino to set up shop. These three areas are Goa, Sikkim and Daman and Diu. Goa and Sikkim are the two states and Daman and Diu is the union territory. There are around fifteen land based casinos in India, although the phrase land based is a little misleading as some of the casinos are located on floating vessels. This is because the Indian government has said that a casino can only be opened on a five star hotel or a floating resort. Deltin Royale Casino

The Deltin Royale Casino is an offshore floating casino that’s located in Goa. It’s one of the most spectacular casinos in the world and offers an incredible view of both the shore and out to see. As of early 2020 visitors from Goa are not permitted to play at the casino, so players have to show ID with proof of address when entering.

Deltin Daman Casino

The Deltin Daman Casino is located in Daman. It was the first resort and casino that was located outside of Goa. It gives players the ability to enjoy a five star hotel and dining experience whilst also enjoying more than 1,000 gaming machines and 30 tables. It’s open 24 hours a day and covers more than 60,000 square feet. It’s a highly impressive resort that also houses two restaurants, a gym and a spa. Overall, the Deltin Daman Casino is a self contained hive of fun.

Deltin Jaqk Casino

The Deltin Jaqk is another offshore casino that’s based in Goa. It’s smaller than the Royale but it still offers a fantastic level of service. Players have access to a wide range of different games, great entertainment and wonderful food. If the Royale is a little too big for your tastes, then the Jaqk is the right place for you to visit.

Casino Pride Panaji

Casino Pride Panaji is located in Goa, this casino is extremely well thought of. So much so that the brand has expanded across the continent and even offers two separate casinos in the Goa region. There is also the Casino Pride II available. This casino offers players access to a huge range of casino games, accomodation, fine dining and it even has a kids creche so you can leave the kids while you enjoy yourself.

Casino Mahjong

Although the Casino Mahjong shares its name with the famous East Asian game, it actually features a lot more in terms of traditional casino games. Casino Paradise is another Goa based casino. It’s one of the oldest casinos in the region and gives players plenty of gaming choices. Finding the best casinos

These are not the only casinos that are available to players in India, so make sure that you do your research in order to find the best one for your tastes. Because all casinos have to be part of either a five star hotel or floating as an offshore casino it means the experience that’s on offer will always be a special one. It’s worth noting that the offshore casinos still offer a high standard of service and players will not be experiencing a poorer environment. Overall, even though the casinos are located in just a few areas, they’re still some of the best casinos around. Just make sure that you go to a casino that’s not located in the area where you live or you will be unable to enter.
